The Children’s Mission is committed to training, developing, and equipping our children’s ministry leaders. Whether you journey with pre-schoolers, primary or intermediates, are employed or volunteer, we are here to support and resource you.

 

 

Training

We host two annual training events for children’s ministry leaders:
- Think Small: Foundations of Children’s Work
- More: Children’s & Youth Leadership Training Conference

Safety & Policy

To keep our children and young people safe anyone who works or volunteers with children must complete Keeping Children Safe training. To find out more check or to book training check out the KCS website keepingchildrensafe.sarmy.net.nz

Junior Soldiers

Junior Soldiers is a discipleship programme for children aged 7+ where local leaders in The Salvation Army nurture young people on their spiritual journey. You can learn more about Junior Soldiers or download the curriculum here.
