Training

We're sure you agree - developing leadership skills in all children’s ministries workers and volunteers is critical! We offer a couple of different training and development opportunities territorially, and regularly compile a list of other available training opportunities throughout New Zealand (from The Salvation Army and other organisations).

MORE

MORE Conference is our annual territorial youth and children’s ministries conference. We highly recommend all youth and children’s workers from our territory attend, as it is a great weekend of learning, developing, worshipping, and networking. Join us on the weekend of 17-19 July 2020 in Wellington.

Think Small: Foundations of Children’s Work

Our foundational training programme launched in 2017 and has proven very successful in helping to upskill and invest in those involved in ministry with children around the territory.

In 2020, the programme is getting a makeover! Now called Think Small: Foundations of Children's Work, the course continues in it's aim to educate, encourage and equip committed, passionate children’s workers and leaders who are disciples of Jesus and are committed to making a difference in their communities. The format now includes two in-person training days, six webinars and one-on-one coaching.
